Artist Talk: Wednesday 2nd May 3pm

Artful Migration is a three year residency programme being developed by Upland in partnership with Ginnie Wollaston of Moving Souls Dance along with support from WWT Caerlaverock and the RSPB.

Angela Alexander-Lloyd, an artist specialising in sound and video, was awarded the first Artful Migration Residency in November 2017. Since then Angela has been undertaking a period of research at WWT Caerlaverock focusing on the Whooper Swans which migrate from Iceland to Dumfries & Galloway.

The exhibition is a culmination of Angela’s residency at WWT Caerlaverock and showcases a new body of work created specifically for the reserve.

Exhibition: The exhibition is open 29th April - 31st August

Spring Fling: The exhibition will be open over Spring Fling weekend (26th - 28th May) and Angela will be onsite to talk to visitors about her work on Saturday 26th May, 10am-5pm. Free entry with Spring Fling 2018 brochure.
