Natasha Kinsella
Events & Exhibitions Development Manager
Natasha joined Upland CIC with 15 years of experience in creative project management and a deep passion for visual arts and community engagement. Her journey in the creative sector began in contemporary art galleries and screen print studios, where she first developed her skills in supporting and showcasing artistic talent.
At Craft Scotland, Natasha played a key role in promoting Scottish makers. She led the Meet Your Maker Programme from 2015 to 2016, organising events that highlighted the work of Scottish makers. She also coordinated the Craft Scotland Summer Show at the Edinburgh Fringe and was instrumental in organising Scotland's participation in SOFA (Sculptural Objects Functional Art) in Chicago, where Scottish craftsmanship was showcased on an international platform.
Natasha has significant experience in planning and coordinating exhibitions, having curated several shows at London's Jealous Screen Print Studio and Galleries. Her work extended to prominent art fairs, including the London Art Fair and Battersea Affordable Art Fair, where she successfully presented both emerging and established artists.
Collaboration and community engagement are central to Natasha’s practice. She has led various creative community projects, including initiatives with Starcatchers, Moat Brae, and Lapidus. Her ability to work across disciplines and connect with diverse groups has been key to the success of these projects.
Natasha remains deeply committed to creating opportunities for artists and communities to connect, grow, and thrive through the arts.
