Kate Anderson

I work from my studio at Tongland, Kirkcudbright to produce Modern Mosaic and Mixed Media work for exhibition and commission. My projects combine conventional methods with my own unique processes incorporating molded and painted elements. I build narratives often incorporating the symbolism of World Mythology into an individual and modern parallel, using the language of symbols as I do my materials: to cross borders and describe a story beneath our fractured lives. I aim to make dramatic and original visual statements.
