Drawing and painting are at the core of my work. But I don’t hesitate to use whatever media are right for a project, which can take it in unusual directions. Risky, but risk leads to discovery. This approach has led to playing with animation, telling stories, writing songs and performing at clubs and festivals, including a spot at the Scottish Storytelling Centre for the 2025 Edinburgh Fringe | Queer People’s Tales. I will continue to be immersed in drawing and painting and telling tales in multiple media. A new studio will soon give me the space to paint large and concertedly, with a new series about trees (an obsession). And another deep dive into the graphic novel art form is on my hit list. And there are songs to be released, more to be written. Watch this space.
