Local Artist Wins Award for Tapestry

We’re pleased to share that Upland member Gyllian Thomson was recently selected for the Edinburgh Printmakers Publishing award for her tapestry work, presented at the Scottish Society of Artists 130^th Annual Exhibition at the Royal Scottish Academy in Edinburgh.

The award includes a prize of three months free access to the Edinburgh Printmakers new studio facilities in Castle Mills, a materials budget, and the opportunity to receive professional training in a chosen print technique.
