We are delighted to open applications for Spring Fling Open Studios 2024!
Spring Fling is the flagship event in Upland’s year-round creative development and arts events programming. Applications are now open for artists and makers to apply to take part. The 2024 event will take place during the late May Bank Holiday from the 25-27 May.
Applying to take part – What you need to know
Applications are now open and close at Midnight on Sunday 15th October 2023 (by 11.59pm).
Applicants must apply via the SF2024 Application form – emails/postal applications will not be accepted. However, if you have any issues with the online format, please contact us.
There is a £16 application fee (non-refundable) which is made on submitting your application. If successful, participants are required to pay the participation fee of £270.
To support artists and makers in taking part, we do offer financial aid through our various schemes including the Step-Up Bursary, the New Graduate Scheme, the Emerge Mentoring Programme, and CREATE (2 free places in the event).
The selection panel will meet and make their selection within two weeks of applications closing. Applicants will be informed by the end of October.
Advice Sessions
We are running a series of online and in-person advice sessions. These will take place on:
- Wednesday 6th September – Stranraer (in-person)
- Thursday 7th September – online (Zoom)
- Monday 18th September – online (Zoom)
- Thursday 21st September – Moffat (in-person)
