The Wigtown Book Festival runs from 22 September to 1 October 2017, and we are excited that Confluence is taking part this year as Upland/Wigtown Book Festival artists in residence.

As Confluence artists, we will be out and about over the 10 days, chatting about the project and sharing stories and collecting new ones. We will also be inviting visitors to join us for storytelling and mint tea at ‘Café Morocco’ events on Saturday 23 September at 2.30 – 4.30pm and Saturday 30 September at 11.30am – 2.00pm in the PHC Room, located behind ReadingLasses Book shop.

As part of our research for the project, we will be asking visitors a number of questions about each of the 7 Confluence themes…

Water, Happiness, Number 3, Old, Time, Silence and Money.

We will be posting the questions along with some of the answers and information we gather on this blog during the festival.

We look forward to sharing more from the project and meeting you at Wigtown if you’re visiting this year.
