This year’s modern makers programme follows woodworker Mark Zygadlo and his team as they work together to build a treehouse.
Day 17 - Tuesday 3rd of May
We added two additional pillars and a support beam for the roof around the main tree as well as additional supports for bracing the pillars and roof frame. Found out from a trustee that the older kids are calling the treehouse "The War Tower".
Day 18 - Saturday 7th of May, The War Tower
Then some more tree surgery, removing obstructive limbs, and started building the framework round the tree that will hold the roof up. The floor of the overhand is also now complete. Great day's work today, well done all.
