Resident in Schools
In 2014/2015, Spring Fling took six artists as residents into two schools for five days to work with schools and students in Dumfries & Galloway across the curriculum on a project identified in collaboration with the school.

Castle Douglas High School Resident Artists:
Lisa Rothwell-Young, Suzi Plunkett and Rosie Reid.
Jeweller Lisa Rothwell Young worked with young artists; illustrator and jeweller Suzi Plunkett and printed textiles graduate Rosie Reid in Castle Douglas High School using mark-making and surface decoration jewellery techniques to create decorative tiles and jewellery.
Lockerbie Academy Resident Artists:
Morag Macpherson, Katie Anderson, Kirsty Turpie.
Textiles and graphic designer, Morag Macpherson worked with young artists; Katie Anderson installation artist and graphic designer Kirsty Turpie to design and make a series of collages, textiles, coins and digital tiles.
