Upland Members News: Clare Melinsky in Dig Delve magazine

Upland member and linocut illustrator Clare Melinsky features in this month's issue of Dig Delve gardening magazine.

Clare, who originally studied Theatre Design at Central School of Art, was chosen to design the cover of Dan Pearson's upcoming work Natural Selection: A Year In The Garden. Her keen eye for botanical detail, her innate understanding of plants and her talent for graphic simplicity set her apart from the rest and won her the design commission. She speaks to Huw Morgan about this exciting project and the inspirations behind her work.

Clare is also one of the participants for this year's Spring Fling Open Studios weekend. You can visit Clare's studio (62) in Thornhill on the Green Route.
