Emerge Bursary Programme 2021

A 6 month programme of mentoring and a bursary of £1,000 for emerging artists or makers under 30 years who have a connection to Dumfries & Galloway.

Two Emerge Bursaries are available in 2021 for emerging artists and makers 30 years and under (funded by The Holywood Trust, the Archie Sutter Watt Trust and Creative Scotland).

Please note: last year we were able to offer three bursaries, one of which had no age limit. We are not able to offer this for 2021, however it is our intention to fundraise for this again going forward. If you do not fall into the age bracket but are looking for support please contact amy@weareupland.com who can advise on alternative funding routes and also on Upland’s peer support programme for Upland members.

Emerge Bursary Programme 2021

For 2021, Upland is offering two Emerge Bursaries for early career artists and makers originally from or with a strong connection to Dumfries and Galloway.
