Colin Tennant and Emma Dove have films selected for film festival
We are delighted that two of our projects will feature as part of the Krafta Doc International Film Festival which takes place in Glasgow from 27th September - 1st October 2017.
Colin Tennant's Modern Heritage Craft film which documents the 2013-15 project has made the official selection. Colin has documented many of our projects through both film and photography over the years so we are very pleased to see that this one has made it into the festival. Colin has also had a second film selected, which is not related to Upland, titled 'Portrait of an Artist', which follows D&G artist Matt Baker through the landscape to a remote location were his artwork 'Hush' is situated.
Emma Dove's film 'What Are We Doing Here', which documented the Spring Fling Rural Mural project in 2016 has also been selected for the festival. It follows the painting of the three new collaborative murals in Dumfries and Galloway, and three more in the urban hearts of Glasgow, Berlin and Newcastle.
Well done to both Emma and Colin! And great to see Dumfries & Galloway well represented.
